1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using neQuitte you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What neQuitte is

neQuitte is an AI-assisted German language learning tool. It provides a conversational AI tutor, vocabulary management, spaced-repetition flashcards, and a grammar article game. It is designed for personal, non-commercial educational use.

3. Your account

  • You must provide a valid email address and verify it to use the service.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • One person, one account — do not share accounts.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its APIs.
  • Submit content that is hateful, abusive, or violates any applicable law.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits or gain unauthorised access to other users' data.
  • Use the service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it for other users.

5. AI-generated content

Responses from the AI tutor are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate. neQuitte is a learning aid — do not rely on it as a sole source of truth for high-stakes decisions. We are not responsible for errors in AI-generated translations, explanations, or grammar corrections.

6. Service availability and limits

We operate a daily message cap to keep the service sustainable. When the daily capacity is reached, the chat feature will be temporarily unavailable until the following day. We reserve the right to adjust limits, add or remove features, or change the service at any time.

7. Pricing

neQuitte is currently free to use during the beta period. If we introduce paid plans in the future we will give reasonable notice before charging you. You will never be charged without explicitly agreeing to a paid plan.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the messages and vocabulary you create. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and do not use it for advertising.

9. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination your data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI responses will always be accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neQuitte and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
